With the wearables market reaching 32 million in Q3 2018 represents a 21.7% increase from the same quarter last year. No surprise when the same companies continue to lead the market.

IDC reports that as of Q3 2018, Xiaomi has become the world’s #1 wearable company by shipment volume, with YoY growth of 90.9%. After a whopping 6.9 million units sold, it now holds the highest market share, 21.5%. The closest runner up is Apple with just 13.1% share and 4.2 million units sold.
Next we have Fitbit who sold 3.5 million units during the quarter, down slightly from 3.6 million units in Q3 2017. Samsung is fifth in the charts with just 1.8 million sold units, right after Huawei which shipped a total of 1.9 million wearables.
