Today we managed to partially confirm a few specs from an upcoming smartphone from Elephone. Some of the specs listed here are still not official, so file them under ‘rumors’, but still we thought that it is worth mentioning what we know about the Elephone A6 Pro. The standard version of Elephone A6 appeared in a video yesterday and managed to turn a few heads. The Elephone A6 will come with a Helio P60 chipset and a waterdrop notch. It also has a triple camera on the back, but the sensors are not yet confirmed. Still, it seems to be an elegant device with a nice design and decent specs.
Elephone is not yet finished with this device though. So they will plan on releasing a ‘pro’ version at the end of Q2 or beginning of Q3 this year. The Elephone A6 Pro will come with the updated Helio P70 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We still don’t know anything related to the camera set up on the back, but we will keep you posted with any updates that we find. The Elephone A6 Pro will also ditch the waterdrop notch. Instead, it will have a 6.4″ screen with a hole in the upper left corner for the 20MP selfie camera. The screen resolution will remain FullHD+. Keep in mind that some specs may change, but according to my sources they are pretty close to final.
Elephone has a few more devices brewing. On the site we can see images for the Elephone U2 and Elephone U2 Pro, but no details yet. We will dig around more for those 🙂
