OnePlus is getting more and more serious with their promotions and marketing. Today they officially announced that Fnatic, the famous eSport team-group that spans across multiple games, will wear the OnePlus logo during their events. This is a big step for OnePlus in terms of market presence and also an important milestone for Fnatic, who got a good sponsor behind. The partnership was announced on OnePlus’s forum, on Fnatic’s website as well as live on Twitch during the Legends in Action event from Berlin. Fnatic already has big sponsors (just look at their T-shirts), but the OnePlus logo is right there in the middle and is the biggest. This could only indicate that the company is pouring a lot of money into the eSports team. Let’s see how that will affect final selling prices for the device.

The new year is here and we’ve hit the ground running with some great news: we’re taking our partnership with esports team Fnatic to the next level! As you all know, we are big mobile gaming enthusiasts, which is why this partnership has been a perfect fit from the start. So, today during the live-streaming of Legends in Action from Berlin, we were thrilled when Fnatic’s striking new team jersey sporting our OnePlus logo was showcased for the first time!
When we asked Carl about this exciting new phase in the partnership, he said that since Gaming has always been such as central part of OnePlus, the partnership with Fnatic was a very natural process. “We’re excited for this to be our first-ever global sponsorship in esports!” Carl told us.
Sam Mathews, founder and chairman of Fnatic, has known Carl for a long time and said that he believes OnePlus and Fnatic share the same values when it comes to performance and becoming the best they can possibly be. This is why he feels they have the perfect partner in OnePlus to help take Fnatic into a new era.
