First stock of Redmi Note 7 depleted in minutes

It seems that Xiaomi, ahem…, Redmi, has a gold mine on their hands. Today they started sales for the Redmi Note 7 in China and the initial stock was depleted in just 8 minutes and 36 seconds. The first flash sale had 100.000 device in stock, so not that much, but it is still quite impressive. Furthermore, the company is prepared to push 1 million Redmi Note 7s by the end of the month, an impressive number that they will most probably exceed.

And looking at the specs and the price, it is easy to see why. The Redmi Note 7 has a Snapdragon 660 CPU, 3GB, 4GB or even 6GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. It’s FullHD+ screen has a waterdrop notch and the 4000mAh battery supports quick charge. But the biggest feature may be the 48MP camera on the back of the device that promises excellent quality photos, maybe even as good as some high-end devices out there. All this for $150 to $210.
