Mobvoi recently announced two new smartwatches, the new Ticwatch E2 and Ticwatch S2, both coming with Wear OS by Google and a quite affordable price. The specs are decent as well, especially considering the price that they are being sold. There is no major difference between the two, except the exterior design and the price.
Both the Ticwatch E2 and S2 come with the outdated Snapdragon Wear 2100, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. I know that the CPU may be a dealbreaker for some of you, but the new Snapdragon 3100 isn’t that much better than what this has to offer. The amount of RAM and internal storage is enough for a smartwatch, at least for now. What is important is the screen and I am happy to say that Mobvoi decided to go with a quality display. We get a 1.39″ AMOLED screen that has a 400×400 resolution.
The Ticwatch E2 and S2 get GPS connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 (yes, I was hoping better here) and a heartrate sensor. Sadly, NFC is not included so you won’t be able to use the smartwatch for payments. The 415mAh battery promises up to 2 days of battery life. Both smartwatches are swimming ready, allowing submersion of up to 5ATM. Not the most high-end devices you can get, but they come with a good pricetag. The Ticwatch E2 is €160 and the Ticwatch S2 will set you back €180. They are having a promotion where you get a free charging dock and using one of the two coupons below, you get an extra 10% discount. Move quickly though since each code can be used only once: TICLOYALES2d3f721b5 and TICLOYALES21fef99a8
You can get them at Mobvoi’s official website.
