It is clear that the big notch that was started by Apple is dead. Not even mid-range devices from B-Brands have it nowadays. Instead, most manufacturers moved to a waterdrop notch, a punch-hole or pop-up camera. Oukitel just announced their next smartphone, the OUKITEL C15 Pro, and it comes with a waterdrop notch as well. No pricing was revealed, but the specs sai it should not cost more than $200.
The Oukitel C15 Pro is not really a “Pro”, but it does have decent specifications. You will get a Helio P22 CPU and a 6.088″ HD screen. No words on RAM or storage yet either, but considering the data that we have, it will probably come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. From my point of view, an HD screen at that size is not enough. Manufacturers should try to get FullHD resolution at anything that surpasses 5″ in diagonal. ultra-cheap devices (like the Doogee Y8) can get away with it, but I doubt that the Oukitel C15 Pro will be that cheap.
On the software side, we know that it will ship with Android Pie out of the box and hopefully, there will be no major customizations done by Oukitel. Expect the Oukitel C15 Pro to reach online stores soon.
