Xiaomi is close to launch their new smart bracelet, the Mi Band 4. The company had a lot of success with its smart-bands/fitness trackers and even managed to be the number one wearable’s company thanks mostly to the Mi Band series. With the next iteration, Xiaomi promises many new features and an improved device compared to the previous models. Lei Jun even posted images and a few features on Weibo.
The color screen supports 16000 colors and out of the box, it will have support for payments via AliPay and WeChat. The international version will probably support other payment providers, depending on the market it will be sold to. There will even be a version that will have built-in NFC that can be used for payments as well. The battery has also been upgraded to a bigger, 135mAh version.
Considering all the new features and improvements, the price will probably be a bit higher than the Mi Band 3. If you are wondering where to buy the Xiaomi MI Band 4 right now, some sellers on Aliexpress are already having it up for pre-order, but they are charging a premium: $39 to $49.99, depending on the seller.
