Xiaomi and Meitu are set to reveal their first smartphone build together in a few weeks. We don’t have an official date yet and final specifications are still unknown, but a leaked poster on Weibo shows part of the device. It is quite interesting and comes with a rotating camera module, similar to the ASUS ZenFone 6. In the image, we can see that the device will have three cameras on the back that will rotate when you want to take a selfie.
We don’t have any words on specifications yet, but according to the leak, the device will have a 48MP main sensor. Furthermore, Xiaomi and Meitu apparently integrated advanced AI at both hardware and software levels that will make your pictures more beautiful. The device will target mostly women and teenagers that focus on selfies and smartphone photography for social media. The design of the device will also be a major selling point. Most probably the smartphone born from the collaboration of Xiaomi and Meitu, nicknamed “Little Fairy”, will come with a mid-range CPU, but with the rotating camera mechanism, it may be the next “selfie-king”.
