Xiaomi launched the Mi 9T, a re-branded version of the Redmi K20, soon after the original was released. But the “Pro” version, the one that offers top of the line specs, that is based on the Redmi K20 Pro so far has not been released. Xiaomi has actually been very quiet about the existence of this device outside of China and India. However, if we are to believe an FCC listing that popped up today, the device exists and is close to release. We don’t have full specs or photos, so this can be a completely different smartphone, but all clues indicate that this is indeed the global version of the Redmi K20 Pro.
The most important clue is the model number. The FCC listing indicates the number “M1903F11G”. This Redmi K20 had M1903F10A/M1903F10T/M1903F10C with the re-branded version of the Mi 9T having M1903F10G. The more powerful model, the Redmi K20 Pro has M1903F11A/M1903F11T/M1903F11C as the model number, so the M1903F11G fits quite nicely here. The FTC page has a lot of technical information there, including frequencies of operation, emitted radiation and all. Probably if we dig deeper more clues can be found, but what we have so far proves with little doubt that this is indeed the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.
There is no release date announced so far by the company, but we can expect it to be available in the next couple of months.
