Huawei is close to revealing the next Mate smartphones: Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. We don’t have an exact launch date, but it seems that prototypes are already in the wild. Someone who was very lucky and with a great eye for tech managed to spot it in a subway in China and snapped a few pictures. Now, those are a bit unclear and the phone is in a protective case that is meant to hide most of the design elements, but we can still see the big screen in all its glory.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will come with a big AMOLED screen that curves on both sides. The curves are similar to the Galaxy Note 7, but a bit more extreme. The device also comes with slim edges on both top and bottom, but we do have a rather big notch on top. Maybe this is not the final version of the device and there are chances that it will instead come with a waterdrop notch. It is expected that the phone will launch with Kirin 985 CPU and there will also be a 5G version available.
