Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 to come with SD855+ and 108MP camera

We are starting to see more and more rumors, speculations and leaks for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone, a sign that it is getting closer to release. Today, an anonymous leakster from China posted a series of specs that the Mi Mix 4 will have. We can’t be sure if those specs are indeed true, but they seem to be inline with what we saw until now and are at least probable. If they turn out to be true, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 may be the most powerful and all-purpose device launched in 2019.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will come with the newer Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and have up to 12GB of RAM. Internal storage will also go all the way up to 1TB. Considering that Mi Mix series was dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the screen, it will be interesting to see what they come up with now, since most high-end smartphones have an almost edge-to-edge display now. Rumors say that the phone will come with a curved display and 2K resolution, having an above 100% screen-to-body radio. This, however, remains to be seen if it is true.

Another key aspect for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be the camera. We don’t know the full camera setup, but it seems that the phone will have the new 108MP sensor presented a few weeks ago by Xiaomi and Samsung. Furthermore, it will have a periscope lens that will offer the phone great optical zoom capabilities. According to the leaks, the other cameras may have a 16MP sensor and a 12MP sensor. It is unclear which camera will have the periscope lens. Other specs include wireless charging, NFC, ceramic body and a 4500mAh battery. Obviously, we should take everything with a grain of salt.
