We were waiting for the first phones with Helio P90 to hit the market and it looks like our wait is close to an end. Ulefone announced today that their upcoming rugged smartphone, the Ulefone Armor 7, will be equipped with this chipset. This may be the very first smartphone with this chipset that you can buy and Ulefone wants to make it a good one. Not only it will have a really good CPU, but other specs are also quite interesting.
The Ulefone Armor 7 will have the Helio P90 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the camera side, Ulefone managed to put a 48MP main sensor. Not the 64MP that are starting to arrive, but still really good, especially for a rugged device. It will also have a 16MP nigh-shot camera and an 8MP one with a telephoto lens. On the front, you will get a 16MP selfie camera that will be in a waterdrop notch. The screen will have a 6.3″ diagonal with FullHD+ resolution. It will ship with Android 9 out of the box and obviously, it will be waterproof and dustproof, but the actual rating is still to be determined.
No word on pricing yet, but we expect it to be close to $350 when it will hit online stores next month.
