Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone in the EU and will start with Spain. On their official Spanish Website, the company listed the Redmi Note 8 Pro as available with a release date of 26th of September and a €229 price tag. That price will only be available for a short 24h period during the sale event, after which it will climb to a still good €249 price. It is really hard to find some other smartphone with better specifications at this price, especially if you want it shipped from within Europe.
If you don’t remember how powerful the Redmi Note 8 Pro is for that price, let us remind you. It comes with the Mediatek Helio G90T chipset, a CPU that was built with gaming in mind, and it is paired with 6GB of RAM. There will be two versions available with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. If you are not convinced yet, let me tell you that the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 64MP main camera on the back, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro one, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. Quite an interesting combination of cameras for a mid-range device.
On the front, the 6.53″ FullHD+ screen has a waterdrop notch that holds a 20MP selfie camera. It is still an LCD panel so the fingerprint reader is a traditional one placed on the back of the phone, but Xiaomi did include NFC this time and it can be used for payments. Other specs include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS and a dual 4G SIM slot. The 4500mAh battery on the Redmi Note 8 Pro also supports fast charging using the included 18W charger and it has a 3.5mm audio jack. You can check all the specs as well as other deals that will be available on the 26th at the official store. No words yet on the non-pro version.
