The tablet market has been quite still for the past few months. There weren’t any good releases and most tablets, especially cheaper ones, that you can find online run really outdated versions of Android and older chipsets that aren’t really good nowadays. Today I found out that Teclast launched a new device that is quite interesting and is available for just $199.99 on Gearbest. It comes with really good specs and Android 9 out of the box. Plus, it has a SIM slot for connectivity on the go.
The Teclast P30 is quite a potent device, being powered by the Mediatek Helio P70 CPU, the same chipset that is found in many smartphones launched in the past few months. It also has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. These are really good specifications for a mid-range device and even though you won’t be setting any performance records, the device should not have any problems in most tasks, including most games. And if the 64GB of internal storage are not enough, the Teclast T30 tablet supports microSD cards up to 256GB.
The device has a big screen, with a 10.1″ diagonal and FullHD resolution (1920 x 1200) with multi-touch support. Even though photography is not its strong point, you will be able to take pictures with the 8MP camera on the back. For selfies and video calls, you will use the 5MP front-facing camera. Everything is powered by an 8000mAh battery and charging is done via the USB Type-C port. The company promises up to 11 hours of video playback on the Teclast T30.
Connectivity-wise, the Teclast T30 supports a single 4G SIM, has Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm audio jack. At $199.99, this is among the cheapest 4G tablets on the market with a 10.1″ screen and Android 9. The offer is available for the next few days on Gearbest.
