We knew for a few weeks that the OnePlus 7T Pro is scheduled for launch and yesterday the company finally revealed their new smartphone. We’ve been used to OnePlus having two interations per year, but because they launched two smartphones in the first half and because the 7T was revealed not too long ago, this release feels a bit too soon. Still, they had to do it because of the influx of SD855+ smartphones that are starting to flood the market. You can’t remain behind the competition, even if this means having only small improvements.
However, the company did manage to make some subtle, but well-needed improvements to the OnePlus 7T Pro, not just giving it a newer chipset. The design has changed a bit, with a more subtle and elegant blue for the back and according to people that had the chance to test it, the device feels better in hand. Obviously, they upgraded to the Snapdragon 855+ chipset and there is only one RAM+Storage combination: 8GB+256GB. This was done to make room for the more expensive McLaren edition that has 12GB of RAM and a cool black and orange color scheme.
Most other specifications remain the same. You still that gorgeous 90Hz AMOLED display with 3120×1440 resolution, a pop-up front-facing camera and a triple-camera setup on the back that consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens camera, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The device has the new Warp30T charge which promises to fully refill the battery in an hour, even though it is slightly bigger compared to the 7 Pro, at 4085mAh. Another cool thing is that it comes with Android 10 out of the box.
The OnePlus 7T Pro will be sold starting next week for 759€ while the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition will set you back an additional 100€. Also, if you are on the lookout for a OnePlus 7T Pro coupon, you can use the one from our link and you will get 10€ off on accessories.
