We are used with AnTuTu, the famous benchmarking application, to release the top 10 smartphones each month by the score in their test. We wrote about this in the past and plan on doing it whenever an important update is available. Today the company released its list for 2020 which manages to offer a few surprises. They made two lists, one with the most powerful devices and one with the most appreciated.
If we look at the most appreciated Android smartphones, it comes to no surprise that the new Huawei Mate 30 5G takes the crown. Huawei has some problems with the US, but that did not stop them from releasing the really good device that is praised by most people. Right below it, we see Samsung’s Note 10+ 5G and on 3rd place, with a really small difference, the Vivo NEX 3 5G, the first smartphone with Qualcomm’s chipset.
Fourth, fifth and sixth positions are all held by Meizu, with their 16th, 16th Plus and 16th Pro respectively, followed by the OnePlus 7 Pro. 8th place sees Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Plus and the last two spots are taken by the Vivo IQOO Pro 5G and the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Two things are worth mentioning here. Samsung is the only non-Chinese brand on the list and Xiaomi, the 4th smartphone manufacturer has no device in sight.
Moving over to the most powerful smartphones, we have the first three spots taken by Vivo with the IQOO NEO, IQOO Pro 5G and the Vivo NEX 3 5G. OnePlus takes the following two positions with the OnePlus 7T Pro and the OnePlus 7T. On the 6th spot, we see the ASUS ROG Phone 2 and right below it, on the 7th place, the Realme X2 Pro. Honor V30 Pro 5G sees 8th place, being the first non-Snapdragon 855+ smartphone on this list. Oppo manages to catch the 8th spot with the Reno ACE the list is closed by Huawei’s Mate 30 Pro 5G. Again, no sign of Xiaomi or their Black Shar gaming smartphones.
