Nubia will be present at MWC later this month, even though ZTE announced that it will pass due to coronavirus concerns. Nubia has a big announcement to make and we understand why they insisted to come, even if the parent company does not. They will launch their next gaming smartphone from the Red Magic lineup and it will have some interesting specifications, something unseen on a smartphone until now.
Judging from the poster that is circulating online, the phone will have 5G connectivity (something that is popping up more and more lately) and a 144Hz refresh rate screen. This is the first time we see such high refresh rates on a smartphone, even though probably the phone will ditch the AMOLED panel for an IPS one. No other specifications were revealed yet, but we can assume it will feature the new Snapdragon 865 CPU from Qualcomm, great cooling and game-centric features just like previous devices. It will be interesting to see if they will keep the active fan cooling.
From the image posted with the outlines of the phone, we can see that this time the company will focus more on photography, something that gaming smartphones neglected. The new Nubia gaming phone will have three cameras on the back and we can assume that the main sensor will have 64MP. The others are most probably with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens.
