Realme has teased that they will be launching a 5G smartphone soon and today they released the name and official release date. The Realme X50 Pro 5G, as it will be called, will be released on the 24th of February during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Because of the location, it is safe to say that the phone will be available outside of India.
There are still many unknowns related to the phone. We don’t have a full image with the device so we don’t know how will the Realme X50 Pro 5G will look and the specifications are only at a rumour level: Snapdragon 865, 8GB and 12GB of RAM, 128GB and 256GB of internal storage and a 64MP main camera. The Realme X2, the company’s last flagship to reach the global market, had a really good price-to-performance ratio and we expect the X50 Pro to follow the same trend, but keep in mind that because of 5G connectivity, it will be more expensive than the X2.
