Realme was scheduled to release the X50 Pro 5G smartphone during Mobile World Congress, but as we know, the big tech show was canceled this year due to Coronavirus concerns and most companies that had launches scheduled had to postpone them. Realme, however, will keep their date intact and will settle for a live-stream. The event will take place on the 24th of February at 10 AM (CET) and can be followed on their website.
They already have the page up and running and thanks to it we have a first look at the specifications of the phone. The Realme X50 Pro 5G will be a true flagship, featuring the new Snapdragon 865 chipset and paired with 8 or 12GB of RAM. Internal storage was not yet revealed, but we believe that it will range from 128GB to 256GB. Other specs include an AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, a dual-camera setup on the front and a quad-camera array on the back of the phone. The main shooter will have a 64MP sensor.
The phone will be the first 5G mobile device launched by the company and the first 5G smartphone available in India. The company is advertising dual-mode 5G for the Realme X50 Pro. Another interesting feature is 65W fast charging for a (rumored) 5000mAh battery. In the next couple of days, the company will reveal two more key specs for the smartphone. Pricing was not revealed yet but Realme is going for a “flagship-killer” price-range for the X50 Pro 5G.
