Realme will be holding another launch event in India next week, on the 5th of March, where the company will be unveiling their next mid-range smartphone, the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. Last year the Realme 5 series managed to attract many customers, being the series that secured many sales, truly making Realme an important player for India’s smartphone market. They are hoping that the Realme 6 series will achieve even better results and judging from what we know so far, it has good chances of doing so.
For now, we don’t have full specs revealed, but Realme did reveal a few key features on their social media account. The phones will feature a quad-camera setup on the back and a dual-camera configuration for selfies. At least the Redmi 6 Pro will have a 64MP main sensor and an ultra-wide-angle camera as well. The screen will have a pill-shaped punch hole for the dual selfie cameras. According to the teasers, the non-pro version will offer slightly lower specs and only one selfie camera. Redmi will definitely aim for low prices in order to compete with Redmi and Poco, companies that are competing for the same mid-range market in India. They will have to step up their marketing, since Redmi 6 series will have Salman Khan as the ambasador, one of the most famous Indian actors.
