The phone is presented in the video above and we can see that the company focused a lot on both design and photography. The Vivo APEX 5G has a stunning screen that almost completely covers both sides of the phone with it’s 120° FullView edgeless display. There is no notch, nor a pop-up camera, instead, Vivo using an under-display selfie camera, the first in a phone if it will ever reach stores.
On the back of the phone, we see a big sensor and the first “gimbal camera”, a more advanced optical image stabilization technique that promises great shoots even while moving or walking. The Vivo APEX 5G is also capable of up to 7x optical zoom with it’s 48MP main sensor. Now, keep in mind that this is just a concept phone, similar to the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha. Even though a few units are built, you probably won’t be able to get your hands on one unless you have really good connections. Still, it is nice to see what tech will soon be mainstream.
