Realme revealed the Realme 6 series of smartphones a few days ago in India and even back then we knew that the devices will hit Europe in the near future. Today, we have a release date for the EU launch of the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, and it is a lot closer than you think: 24th March. This is less than two weeks from now.
The Realme 6 and the Realme 6 Pro are great mid-range smartphones with a great price-to-performance ratio. I won’t post all the details again (you can read our original coverage of the Realme 6 launch), but I will highlight their best features. The Realme 6 has the Mediatek Helio G90T chipset with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The Pro version comes with an even better Snapdragon 720G CPU and ditches a 4GB RAM model. Both devices put a lot of accent on photography, with a quad-camera on the back. Both devices have a 64MP main camera and the Realme 6 Pro has a telephoto lens camera with 20x hybrid zoom.
For now, we don’t know anything related to pricing, but the phones are very affordable in India and we expect the trend to be the same for EU as well, maybe slightly more expensive. In India, the Redmi 6 starts at approximately 155 Euros and the Pro version at around 200 euros. The most expensive Realme 6 Pro, if we are to convert the Indian price into euros, costs less than 230 euros.
