Xiaomi’s wearable division, Amazfit, will be launching tomorrow a new smartwatch called the Amazfit X. This new device has an interesting design that will stand out and promises long battery life, even with continuous heartrate monitoring active. The device will start pre-order via an IndieGoGo campaign, but the price is not yet revealed.
The Amazfit X looks like a more fancy fitness tracker, but the 2.07″ AMOLED curved screen with full-color representation betrays the smartwatch features of the X. The screen is the centerpiece and Amazfit placed a lot of details into it. It offers 430 NIT brightness and has a 326ppi density. For now the company has not released a lot of details prior to their IndieGoGo campaign, but the teasers posted does suggest great integration with your smartphone for displaying notifications as well as advanced fitness and activity tracking.
The Amazfit X also has a heartrate monitor and the 220mAh battery can last up to 7 days even when it is activated. There are many cool watch faces for customizing the screen and an advanced fitness companion app for gathering your data.
