Not too long ago Realme released the Realme 6 and 6i in Europe for €230 and €200 respectively. Even though the Pro version of the Realme 6 was already announced in India, it was committed from the European launch back then. Today, however, the company revealed that the phone will indeed come to the EU and the official launch is set for next week, on the 5th of May.
It is the same phone that is already available in India, so we know all the specifications. It is powered by the Snapdragon 720G CPU and has 6GB or 8GB of RAM. There are also variants with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The 6.6″ FullHD+ LCD display has a pill-shaped punch hole that holds the dual selfie camera and a 90Hz refresh rate. It was only last year that high refresh rate screen started to arrive and we are already seeing them in mid-range smartphones, even if they don’t have an AMOLED panel.
The Realme 6 Pro has an impressive camera configuration, with a quad-camera setup on the back and a dual-camera setup on front. The main sensor has 64MP that is accompanied by a 12MP telephoto camera that can do 20x hybrid zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro-lens camera. The main selfie camera has 16MP but you will also get an 8MP ultra-wide camera on front for wide-angle selfies.
We don’t have an official price yet, but judging from the price the Realme 6 is currently being sold in Europe we can estimate that the Realme 6 Pro will cost around €250.
