Today Realme launched the new Narzo series of devices in India. The new series so far has two devices, Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A. The cheapest of the two is the 10A and we are going to cover it in this article. Sadly, if you were expecting a brand new smartphone, you will be slightly disappointed. The Realme Narzo 10A is just a re-branded Realme C3 that was launched in Europe not too long ago.
The smartphone is a low-budget device that tries to focus on gaming by offering a mid-range Mediatek Helio G70 octa-core CPU and 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM. You also get 32GB of internal storage, but don’t worry about storage space since there is a dedicated microSD card slot available. While the chipset is not the most powerful out there, it does offer good gaming performance, especially considering that it has to push fewer pixels. This is because the 6.5″ screen has only HD+ resolution (720 x 1600).
Looking at the cameras, the phone has some potential considering the price. You will get a triple camera setup with a 12MP main shooter, a 2MP macro-lens camera and 2MP depth-sensing camera. The phone will definitely won’t be able to compete with more high-end devices, but for a low-to-mid-range device, it is great. You also get a 5MP front-facing camera inside a waterdrop notch. Everything else is pretty much standard, with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and FM Radio. You will sadly have to leave with the older micro-USB connector though.
In Europe, the Realme C3 is sold for quite a high price and is not very competitive, at 160€. In India though, the Realme Narzo 10A is much better positioned at just 8,499 Rupees (~104€). At this price, Realme has the potential to move a lot of units.
